"We exist to help schools improve academic outcomes by strengthening the systems that support teachers and leaders."
Brilliance Diagnostic Framework™
Three Levers.
One Destination.
Our framework identifies root causes — not symptoms — and prioritizes the high-leverage actions that move the needle on student proficiency.
IGNITE™
Instructional Systems Design
Designing learning that moves practice — not just minds. We hardwire what strong instruction looks like so adults consistently deliver high-quality learning for every student, every day.
Do our instructional systems make it easy for every teacher to deliver high-quality instruction every day, or does quality depend on individual effort?"
FOCUS™
Data-to-Action Systems
From information to intervention. We transform data from static reports into actionable insight — so teams respond quickly, strategically, and equitably to student needs.
"When data shows students are struggling, do we respond quickly with aligned action — or do we analyze without changing outcomes?"
ALIGN™
Leadership Execution Systems
What leaders do consistently determines what schools do well. We build the systems, habits, and routines leaders need to translate vision into daily execution — even under pressure.
"Are our priorities consistently executed through leadership actions, or do results depend on who is in the room?"
ENGAGEMENT PARKAGES
Built for Where
You Are Right Now
Five tiered offerings — from rapid diagnostic to sustained systems transformation — each anchored in the Brilliance Diagnostic Framework™.
WHAT GROUNDS OUR WORK
Five Values.
Every Decision.
Kids First
Every decision is rooted in what most directly improves student academic outcomes.
Clarity with Purpose
Data creates focus, not noise. Leaders act with confidence and intention.
Collaborative Partnership
We work with leaders — not on schools. Shared ownership from day one.
Integrity in Action
No performative analyses. Only strategies grounded in evidence and real experience.
Lasting Impact
Every decision is rooted in what most directly improves student academic outcomes.
THE WORK IN PRACTICE
What Happens When We Work Together
Every engagement begins the same way — with clarity. Here's what the first four weeks look like inside a Brilliance Snapshot™.
1
Guided Discovery
We sit down with you and your leadership team, clarify goals, identify constraints, and launch the Brilliance Diagnostic Framework™. You leave knowing exactly what the next four weeks will produce.
2
Evidence Collection
We conduct leadership interviews, gather teacher voice, and review your systems — improvement plans, meeting agendas, walkthrough data, and academic indicators. The Discovery Scorecard is completed.
4
Strategic Debrief
A 90-minute session with your leadership team. We walk through the findings together, align around the highest-leverage action, and deliver your written Priority Findings Summary. The work ahead is finally focused.
3
Diagnostic Analysis
We build your school's Heat Map — a visual snapshot of system strength across all three levers. Patterns are identified, root causes named, and the primary constraint made visible for the first time.

MEET DR.BRANDALYN HAYES
That's
She has led at every level.
the difference.
Dr. Brandalyn Hayes is the Founder and CEO of Bridge to Brilliance, Inc. — and she brings something most consultants can't: she has done the work herself. Over 18 years in urban K–12 and higher education, she has served in every role that shapes a school — classroom teacher, instructional coach, building principal, and district director. She knows what it feels like to carry a school, and she knows what it takes to move one.

Dr. Hayes began her education journey in Nashville Tennessee, building her career across urban K–12 schools before expanding her work to Indianapolis, Indiana, and her experience extends into higher education as well — giving her a full-pipeline perspective few consultants carry. Across every level, from kindergarten classrooms to college, she has seen the same truth: outcomes don't improve through more effort or more programs. They improve when the systems behind instruction, data, and leadership are clear, consistent, and built to last.
"I've benefited from incredible mentors and coaches who walked alongside me — and I want to do the same for others. My commitment is to meet leaders where they are and guide them toward sustainable academic improvement."
Her path from teacher to school leader to director gave her a rare vantage point: she understands what teachers need to grow, what principals need to lead, and what districts need to see. That full-system perspective is what she brings to every engagement — not theory, but tested practice from inside real schools.

Dr. Hayes is especially passionate about equipping schools to better serve every student — particularly those who have been historically underserved. She brings both the relational tools and the academic systems thinking to help schools ensure that all students are seen, supported, and positioned to thrive.
